Connect your agent to your apps

Use the Integrations tab to connect Gmail, Notion, GitHub and 1,000+ other apps, and fix connections that don't work.

In this tutorial

Your agent can work inside the apps you already use: read your email, add rows to a spreadsheet, create a Notion page, open a GitHub issue. You connect each app once from the Integrations tab, and your agent can use it from then on. There are more than 1,000 apps to choose from, and nothing to install.

Connect an app

  1. Open your agent and click Integrations in the left menu.
  2. Stay on Browse. Pick an app from Popular integrations, or type its name in the Search 1,000+ apps box.
  3. Click Connect. The app's own sign-in page opens in a new tab.
  4. Sign in and allow access. Make sure you're signed in to the account you actually want your agent to use.
  5. Go back to the Heyron tab. It shows Waiting for you to finish connecting in the other tab… and checks for up to 45 seconds. When it's done, the app shows Connected and its card changes to Added.

That's it. Start a new chat and ask your agent to use it.

Only workspace admins can connect apps. Other members of the workspace can browse the list but not connect.

See and manage your connections

Click Connected at the top of the Integrations tab to see every app this agent can use. Each one shows Connected, or a status if it's still finishing. From there you can:

  • Add another: connect a second account of the same app, for example a work and a personal Gmail.
  • Disconnect: remove the app. Your agent loses access straight away.

Connections belong to one agent. If you have two agents, connect the app on each one that needs it.

Moved from the old Heyron servers?

If your agent was moved to the new hosting in October 2026, your old app connections didn't come with it. Connect each app once more from Integrations and you're set.

When a connected app isn't working

Most "it's connected but doesn't work" problems are one of four things. Work through them in order.

What you see Usually means Try this
Agent says it has no access to the app You're in an old chat that started before you connected Start a New chat and ask again
It works, but on the wrong account You signed in to a different account in the other tab Disconnect, then connect again while signed in to the right account
It reads but can't create or change things Some permissions were skipped on the sign-in page Disconnect and connect again, allowing every permission the app asks for
The agent asks you to install a tool or paste an API key It doesn't know the connection exists Tell it to use the connected app, by name

If none of that helps, open a ticket at /support with the app's name and the exact error your agent shows. See how to get help for what to include.

Apps with their own quirks

Google apps. Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets each connect separately. They have a few common problems of their own, covered in Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets with your agent.

GitHub. See use GitHub with your agent.

Social media. Many social networks limit what any automated tool can post or read, and some, like Instagram and TikTok, block automated access altogether. If an app is in Integrations, use that. If it isn't, ask your agent to draft the post for you to publish yourself. More in web search, scraping and browsing.

Design tools like Canva and Midjourney. Your agent can't sign in to websites on your behalf, and logins often loop when it tries. Connect the app from Integrations if it's listed. If it isn't, let the agent write the brief, prompt or copy, and you do the final step in the app.

WordPress and other sites without a connection. If an app isn't in the list, ask your agent what it can do instead. Often it can draft the content and save it to Files for you to paste in.
